Condolences

"Indeed, to Allah we belong, and indeed, to Him we shall return."

With hearts believing in Allah's will and decree, and with profound sorrow and immense grief, we extend our sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Dr. Tariq Al-Toumi on the passing of his son. This immense tragedy, before which words fail and cannot describe its pain, yet all solace lies in the true promise of Allah and in His boundless mercy which knows no limits.

Allah the Almighty says:

"And give good tidings to the patient, Who, when disaster strikes them, say, 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.' Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided." (Al-Baqarah: 155-157)

In this grievous loss, we ask Allah Almighty that the departed be a treasure and an intercessor for his parents on the Day of Resurrection, that He compensate them with what is better, mend their broken hearts, and bestow upon their hearts beautiful fortitude.

We also ask Him, glorified be He, to grant Dr. Tariq Al-Toumi, his family, and relatives patience and solace, to reward them greatly for their patience, and to make this affliction a means of elevating their ranks and expiating their sins.

May Allah magnify your reward and grant you beautiful consolation. We say only what pleases our Lord: "Indeed, to Allah we belong, and indeed, to Him we shall return."
